Mateusz Woźniak (b. 1992) is a visual artist and specialist in photography at the Museum of Photography in Kraków. He graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where in 2022 he defended his diploma under the supervision of Professor Andrzej Bednarczyk. He works with photography, text, and sound, treating them as tools for recording and structuring reality. Instead of pursuing a single style, he is interested in the ways different forms can collide and complement one another. His works oscillate between documentary and intimate record, searching for a language that leaves space for what cannot be fully articulated. Sometimes photography becomes a point of departure, at other times a trace of something that could not be described otherwise. His works are held in private collections, and he has participated in group exhibitions.
